Safety measures for direct replacement of gas tank with natural gas

The safety measures that should be taken when the gas holder is directly replaced with natural gas, let's check with the manufacturer who installed the gas holder.
(1) Before replacement, carefully check the anti-static grounding of gas tank and gas transmission pipeline, and the grounding resistance shall not be greater than 4 Ω. The tank wall shall not be painted with anti-rust paint with poor conductivity.
(2) Before replacement, all switch valves, safety valves, pressure gauges and other facilities on the gas tank and gas transmission pipeline shall be carefully inspected and maintained to be firm, tight and effective, and necessary repair tools, equipment and materials shall be provided.
(3) Before replacement, carefully check and maintain all fire-fighting facilities and equipment in the storage and distribution station to ensure that they are complete, effective and comply with regulations.
(4) Before replacement, a thorough replacement plan and operation procedures shall be formulated, the responsibilities of leaders at all levels and various posts shall be implemented, and the smooth command and communication shall be ensured during replacement.
(5) The flow rate of natural gas shall be strictly controlled during replacement. When the concentration of natural gas in the cabinet does not reach 30% (twice the upper explosion limit), the flow rate shall not exceed 5m/s; When the concentration exceeds 45%, the flow rate can be appropriately increased, but it should not be greater than 10m/s. When the air covered by the original arc top of the gas holder only accounts for 2% of the volume of the mixed gas (the state when the gas holder rises to 30000 m3), the white number of the gas in the gas holder meets the requirements of the external supply characteristics, and then the replacement is completed.
(6) During replacement, fire safety warning area shall be set up within a certain range of the storage and distribution station to prohibit all fire sources and irrelevant personnel and vehicles from entering.
(7) Contact the fire department and health department to ensure the fire fighting and first aid work in the whole process of replacement.
(8) The meteorological department is requested to forecast the weather of the replacement day two days in advance.
(9) The test instruments and equipment used in the replacement process shall be re-calibrated and qualified.
(10) There shall be more than two persons for the operation with gas, and special personnel shall be assigned for supervision.
(11) The replacement personnel must wear anti-static clothing and anti-static shoes, and wear replacement work signs before entering the warning area.
(12) Strictly control the number of people on the top of the cabinet. Personnel on the top of the cabinet must walk steadily and slowly along the designated walking route, and jumping is prohibited.
