（2） Sealing medium
The physical and chemical state of the sealing medium - thin oil is of great significance to the sealing and operation of the piston.
1. Problems with oil-water separator
In the north, the winter is very cold, and whether the thin oil can be separated from water is a particularly critical issue. If the separation is not good, the freezing of water in the oil may block the circulating oil circuit at any time, making the gas tank unable to operate; In addition, the presence of water will also emulsify the sealing oil.
① Heating should be guaranteed
Practice has proved that the seal oil temperature must be kept above 5 ℃ before the oil and water can be effectively separated. Of course, this has a great relationship with the type of seal oil. Our company usually uses 46 # refrigerant oil. In terms of heating means, when steam is used for heating, it is easy to be hot and cold. In winter, the heating temperature should be strictly controlled to achieve balanced heating. If conditions permit, use water heating instead of steam heating to reduce the heating temperature difference.
② Thermal insulation measures shall be taken
At present, there is no thermal insulation design for the oil tank at the bottom of Man-type gas tank in China. The iron wall plate will quickly dissipate the heat, which is very detrimental to the maintenance of oil temperature, thus greatly increasing the heating load. Therefore, it is necessary to take thermal insulation measures.
③ Operation of oil-water separator
After the fully separated oil and water "go their separate ways" in the oil-water separator, the seal oil enters the next circulation process. In order to prevent the seal oil from separating out water again in the pump room, we can install a drain valve (see Figure 3) to drain the residual water in time.
When the piston oil level and the oil level in the oil tank are unbalanced, the oil level regulator can be adjusted appropriately. The oil level regulator rises by 1mm, the oil level in the oil tank also rises by 1mm, and the piston oil level drops by 2mm.
